Cassia

Cassia typically refers to cassia bark, the spice made from the bark of East Asian evergreen trees.

Some people use it for erectile dysfunction (ED), hernia, bed-wetting, joint pain, menopausal symptoms, menstrual problems, and to cause abortions. Cassia cinnamon is also used for chest pain, kidney disorders, high blood pressure, cramps, and cancer. People apply cassia cinnamon to the skin to repel mosquitos.

Cassia oil helps open obstructed menstrual paths, so it relieves the cramps that are common when menstruating and keeps your cycle regular. It also naturally remedies PMS cramps and menstrual symptoms, such as headaches, fatigue, muscle aches, moodiness and bloating. It’s the emmenagogue, analgesic and pain-relieving properties of cassia oil that allow it to combat irregular periods and painful symptoms.
